I wish I could . The boss likes DC and does not want to move south. As an acceptable compromise whenever I get the summer, spring, fall or winter blues I go south for some boat therapy.

Today someone in my friends place asked about my boat. It was like adding fuel to fire. For the next one hours I was explaining to them about Boating, Bimini adventures etc with photos and videos non stop till my wife pulled me away from there. I bet you they will not repeat the same mistake and ask me again about my boat .

Someone needs to field all the equipment, cost etc questions so keep it up!

Now that some of you are scared back into the boat..
Most of not all the condos have wifi.
We used amazon photos to automatically upload every night so nothing was lost should a device fail.
Also allows for clearing memory on the phone when needed.
We had the gopro left in truck by accident and the other underwater camera had the battery die sowe were down to phones.

Know what you mean. Potomac river not interesting enough. Changing my marina next year to park the boat in Chesapeake bay. Want to spend a lot of weekends exploring and overnighting on the bay.

8 more months .... actually it is not as bad as it sounds..... with holidays ( not sure if it is okay to say Christmas anymore) coming up the time will fly until January. Then January/February you are waiting for the dates and then once the dates are out, you are like a little puppy bouncing around until 2 weeks prior to departure.

I wish that were true....
Due to the distance (1,500 miles of oversized permitted towing each way - takes 3 days each way) my wife has decided that we will not partake in the 2019 trip.
It will be 2020 for me.

I reside in Chantilly Va (close to Leesburg) and currently my boat is in pilot house marina in Woodbridge VA. There are quite a few of us that made a couple of Bimini trips in 2017 and 2018 in nova.

It will be 2020 for me.

If I were you I would save a week worth of vacation. It was just yesterday that a couple of people were thinking about either joining as crew or potentially looking for crew. Riding through the stream on a jetboat can make wonders for kidney stones. Especially if you ride on 190.

This is exactly why I don't think I'll ever get a boat that's got oversized load or anything wider than 8'6"
