Shelbyville Illinois, July 31th to August 2nd 2015

The placement of these photos made me laugh (Sorry @Sheboat) would have been hilarious if Amy and Sue's boat had been a 212X....

The X would have been the target.....he would have missed a little...move the X forward....and this would have been a viral oddity! :snaphappy:

1st time traveling to Shelbyville gathering... Sadly, our custom Yamaha boat cover that came with the boat that we have owned for three years has finally bit the dust. The cover had a blowout on the way back from Bimini. Driving somewhere on our last leg home it split. We did not notice until we arrived home; thankfully, nothing was lost. Quickly deciding to head to Shelbyville @Bruceimage.jpg ordered a temporary cover. It is working ok but, makes you appreciate the custom work Yamaha does for there boats.

Bout an hour out!

We are packing up Cumberland camp and getting ready to leave first thing tomorrow morning! It's a blast here but I'm ready for a little more party! See you all tomorrow night!!

Well, got the truck and boat both washed and ready to go and a good part of the packing is done. Just a couple things to take care of in the morning and we'll be heading that way. Now I'm going to wind down after being awake for about 28 hours.
See you all tomorrow people, can't wait!

Passing through Decatur now. Should be down there in an hour. Hopefully someone still down for a tasty beverage when we get there.

We enjoyed meeting so many Shelbyville attendees at dinner tonight. Thank you @OperationROL for the warm welcome, awesome name tags and goody bag.

We found our cabin at Wolf Creek Lodge. It is a nice cabin with trailer sized well maintained gravel roads. We are about 3 miles east of Lithiua and will join the group there after breakfast.

It has been an awesome day. Could not sleep the night before in intisidation of what is to come. With a wakeup call of 4 AM, arrive at last and party all day on the water. What an awesome group. After meeting newbie Shelbyville members, we continue to party on. 2am and the last of the group hit the sack with a time schedule to awake at 6 only to catch the smooth water in the morning. Will it happen? Who knows! Travis still practicing cornhole as we sleep,"wholly sh.t." It is just one of those things. You just have to be here to understand. A large thank you to the organizers. I will not mention names for fear I would leave someone out by accident. "YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE". It was awesome watching the children and teenagers playing on the many and varied water mats. An experience they will never forget. I counted 14 boats today. Not even half that are scheduled to attend. A new day to follow in just a few short hours. Remember, it is Shelbyville, sleep little, party hard, have fun and create memories. Yet another day to follow. BRING IT ON.

I think we need a jealous or envious rating button. This thread is making me wish I'd flown out for the weekend and bummed a ride on someone else's boat. I'm not sure what I will be doing this weekend but I'm sure I won't be boating.
