2017 Lake Shelbyville Illinois Gathering, July 26th to July 30th 2017

@OperationROL , @Bruce , @Julian
Just relaying something that crossed my mind. Perhaps Yamaha would like to hold a brainstorming session at Shelbyville to hear from owners of the features they like, dislike and would like to see included in the future. It would seem to me that an experienced audience like this would be quite valuable at providing input to their developers. I know they have incorporated many of the mods we as a group have done, but usually the energy of an assembly that is freed to dream can come up with some very interesting insight. This, of course , would have to be held prior to 9:30 am as our crew will be out looking for flat water about then.

Yamaha's challenge is the timing of the event....it comes shortly before their annual Dealer meeting and reveal of the new boat line up. They have already told me that it would be unlikely they would be able to have someone attend for this reason.

Ok everyone.....don't all jump at once but the wife and I will be canceling our room in the next couple of days due to renting an annual camping spot so our room will be avaliable.

I don't remember if I posted or not, but I have almost the same situation as Jerry. We cancelled our room reservation at the resort as well. Seeing as how we will be staying in our home near the lake. :winkingthumbsup"

Well I will join the list of cancellations. My crew all bailed so I have canceled my stay at Kaskia Woods Estate. I may still come but just don't need that big of a place at all.

It is on the list and looking forward to it. Not sure I will know what to do behind a boat that creates a real wave. I am sure you guys will be gracious in your laughter.IMG_6788.JPG IMG_6820.JPG IMG_6844.JPG

@007 , I'm confused by the very first picture from @buckbuck . I didn't know your boat could list to the port side.....:troll:

I think that is why Buck took the picture.......to prove that it did once.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Now @trace @jcyamaharider @mattschepker, you all know my boat goes both ways...

Wait:wideyed:,

that didn't come out right! :happy:

Errrr, lets try that again...Somebody has to love the goofy footers!:p:D

@buckbuck , I am sure the "Father of Surfing at Shelbyville" will adapt easily to the wave, we'll make sure not to go all "tall wall" on you.

My goal is to actually get to ride this year. No more busted joints in 2017!

Well that is not going to fit in the garage!
Congratulations @mattschepker and Mrs.

HA. Didn't see that coming. Did you fold the tower or remove it?
